Anne has felt a special bond with animals ever since she was a young girl. By working as a Veterinary Technician, she’s able to spend time with the pets she loves so much while ultimately bettering the lives of animal owners and their companions!
Anne is originally from Colorado. She began college as an education major but started to consider animal care after hearing fascinating stories from her cousin, who was training to become a veterinarian. Anne completed her animal science degree in Louisiana, then moved to Texas to expand her career as a Veterinary Technician.

Meet our awesome receptionist, Olivia! Another awesome human from Montgomery County!
Why did she want to be in the veterinary industry? “When I was a baby, still just crawling, I took off down the road when my mom took my brother inside over a scraped knee or cup of water. When she found me, a pack of neighborhood dogs, 4 or 5 of them, were surrounding me and protecting me. I’ve wanted to help animals all of my life. I share a special bond with them.”

Meredith KrusVeterinary TechnicianRead More
Meet our veterinary technician, Meredith! Her job is to ensure patient health, safety, and happiness.
She was born and raised in Texas and has loved dancing since she was 7. She even went on to start teaching and doing choreography. After high school, she went to VII to get her Associate’s degree of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. She found her way to the veterinary industry because the only thing that brought her happiness was the companionship of animals. One day it just clicked, being in the veterinary industry was what she wanted to do with her life. After an externship with a surgery center, she was hooked. She decided to keep going high-volume, low-cost spay and neuters and took a job doing that in a no-kill shelter. From there, she took a job in a general practice working with exotics and small mammals.
